In the Hindu Epic Ramayana, Lord Hanuman ji had taken the responsibility of finding Sita, wife of Lord Shri Ram, who was kidnapped by Demon King Ravan and taken to Lanka across the ocean.
As the epic goes, standing at the shores of great ocean, Lord Hanuman was lost in the thoughts trying to think of a way to cross the ocean. Seeing him lost in his thoughts and understanding his state of mind, Jamwant Ji, the commander of lord shri Ram’s army, reminded Hanuman of his childhood where Hanuman had leaped into the sky and had swallowed the sun. Reminded of his own ability and powers, Hanuman ji leaped across the ocean and reached Lanka and the rest is history.
Inspired by the character of Jamwant, who was instrumental in reminding the God of his own powers, Jamwant ventures LLP was incepted. On 22 April 2006, the Uttaranchal School Education Act 2006 (Act No. 8 of the year 2006) was promulgated and the Uttaranchal School Education Council was established. After this, the Uttarakhand School Education Council was constituted by Government Order No. 201/XXIV-5/2008, Dehradun, dated 11 December 2008.

BotLab Dynamics is steadfastly advancing in the realm of drone technology and pioneering the automation of intelligent unmanned aerial vehicles in India. The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi is one among the eighth newer second generation of IITs. IIT Mandi is a research university now located in Kamand Valley, Mandi city in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh.
IIT Mandi’s campus (about 14 km from Mandi) is on the left bank of the Uhl River at Kamand and Salgi villages. There is great variation in the climatic conditions of Himachal due to extreme variation in elevation. The climate varies from hot and sub-humid tropical in the southern tracts to cold, alpine and glacial in the northern and eastern mountain ranges with more elevation.
Mandi has an average elevation of 1044 meters (3425 feet) and is situated on the banks of Beas. Mandi town falls in the lower most climatic zone of the Himalayas. These regions enjoys a wet-sub temperate climate of the foot hills (450-900 meters) as against the dry-cold alpine climate with snowfall at higher altitudes (2400-4800 meters). Average annual rainfall of Mandi is 1380 mm.

Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI), Pilani, a constituent laboratory of CSIR, incepted in the year 1950 when Dr. Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar, the pioneer of CSIR, approached to the the country’s famous industrialist Shri GD Birla for financial assistance for the establishment of the R&D institute dedicated to electronics research. With the farsightedness of Shri GD Birla and the efforts of the then Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, the foundation stone for the establishment of CSIR-CEERI National Laboratory of CSIR was laid on 21st September 1953 by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru at Pilani. Thereafter, the Electronics Committee constituted under the chairmanship of Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha, keeping in mind the industrial requirements of the country, started developing CEERI as a premier research institute for research and development in the field of electronics. This National Research Laboratory was established to give impetus to research and development of electronics in the country and to make the country self-reliant by providing support to the industries of the country.

Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) is a Schedule ‘C’, Mini-Ratna Category II Central Public Sector Enterprise working under the aegis of Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. The Corporation started manufacturing artificial aids and appliances in 1976.
