Seeing him lost in his thoughts and understanding his state of mind, Jamwant Ji, the commander of lord shri Ram’s army, reminded Hanuman of his childhood where Hanuman had leaped into the sky and had swallowed the sun. Reminded of his own ability and powers, Hanuman ji leaped across the ocean and reached Lanka and the rest is history.

After this, the Uttarakhand School Education Council was constituted by Government Order No. 201/XXIV-5/2008, Dehradun, dated 11 December 2008.

The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi is one among the eighth newer second generation of IITs. IIT Mandi is a research university now located in Kamand Valley, Mandi city in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh.
IIT Mandi’s campus (about 14 km from Mandi) is on the left bank of the Uhl River at Kamand and Salgi villages. There is great variation in the climatic conditions of Himachal due to extreme variation in elevation. The climate varies from hot and sub-humid tropical in the southern tracts to cold, alpine and glacial in the northern and eastern mountain ranges with more elevation.
Mandi has an average elevation of 1044 meters (3425 feet) and is situated on the banks of Beas. Mandi town falls in the lower most climatic zone of the Himalayas. These regions enjoys a wet-sub temperate climate of the foot hills (450-900 meters) as against the dry-cold alpine climate with snowfall at higher altitudes (2400-4800 meters). Average annual rainfall of Mandi is 1380 mm.

The Director General of CSIR is the principal executive of CSIR. The current Director General of CSIR is Dr. Shekhar C. Mande. Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI), Pilani, a constituent laboratory of CSIR, incepted in the year 1950 when Dr. Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar, the pioneer of CSIR, approached to the the country’s famous industrialist Shri GD Birla for financial assistance for the establishment of the R&D institute dedicated to electronics research. With the farsightedness of Shri GD Birla and the efforts of the then Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, the foundation stone for the establishment of CSIR-CEERI National Laboratory of CSIR was laid on 21st September 1953 by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru at Pilani. Thereafter, the Electronics Committee constituted under the chairmanship of Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha, keeping in mind the industrial requirements of the country, started developing CEERI as a premier research institute for research and development in the field of electronics. This National Research Laboratory was established to give impetus to research and development of electronics in the country and to make the country self-reliant by providing support to the industries of the country.
The Centre of Excellence (CoE) on BIRD, i.e., Biologically Inspired Robots and Drones, at IIT Delhi is an evolution from its humble research activities which began a few decades ago by its faculty drawn from the departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and several others, and centres like Centre of Biomedical Engineering and others, including a strong student’s Robotics Club since 2002.

Founded by Marico, Parachute Kalpavriksha Foundation’s objective is to make a difference in the life of Indian farmers. The word “Kalpavriksha” is derived from Devanagari script “Kalpa” (imagination/wish) and “Vriksha” (Tree), meaning the tree that fulfils your wishes. We are a Non-Profit organization working towards the welfare of farmers in India. Currently we have enrolled more than 65,000 farmers covering almost 2.75 Lakh acres of plantation across the states of: Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh.
Our team of 100+ Agronomists regularly pay visits to the farmers and educate them on scientific farming practices and help them increase their productivity. Apart from our Productivity improvement program, we provide other services like Agri Expert on phone, Agri Business Centers (ABC), Water conservation activities by construction of farm pond, classroom training to farmers through Kalpavriksha Knowledge Centre etc.

Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) is a Schedule ‘C’, Mini-Ratna Category II Central Public Sector Enterprise working under the aegis of Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. It was incorporated on 30.11.1972 registered under Section 25, Sub-section 1 clause (a) of the Companies’ Act, 1956 (now Section 8 of Companies’ Act, 2013) as a company formulated with charitable objects.
The Corporation started manufacturing artificial aids and appliances in 1976. At present it has five Alimco Auxiliary Production Centers (AAPCs) at Bhubaneswar (Orissa), Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh), Bengaluru (Karnataka), Mohali (Punjab) and Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh). Sixth AAPC is coming up in Faridabad (Haryana). which is expected to be operational soon. Technology Innovation Hub (TiH) on “Cognitive Computing and Social Sensing” for Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS), called iHub Anubhuti IIITD Foundation, has been established by Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi as a Section 8 Company under the aegis of the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
iHub Anubhuti is the National Center for Cognitive Computing & Social Sensing. iHub Anubhuti aims at building a collaboration between industries, academia and government agencies on developing data driven cognitive computing solutions, mainly in verticals – Health, Law Enforcement & Security, Education and Environmental Sustainability.
